Very nice game! I like mining games a lot and this one has everything. A bit of Boulder Dash, Pocket Mine and Mr Driller. It comes with nice retro graphics and basic sound fx. The only thing I miss is a soundtrack or some atmospheric ambience. Nevertheless this is a great game! Thanks for making it! =) And dont get fooled by its look and beginning: You will die sooner and quicker than you think! Smashed by rocks, stone wheels, killed by scorpions (or cavemen? But they hatch from eggs....^^) and moles or by some giant explosion. You have to plan your moves and later on just avoid getting killed. Nice that the Hi-score is saved. (You can reset it though). My best score after some tries is 13100. Pretty bad but I`m still having fun.^^
thank you! I def need to add some music, just didn't get to in the jam :( the cavemen are encased in amber, which was def a weird choice since that's usually only for small insects lol
A caveman completely preserved in amber 100% intact. The wet dream of anthropologists....XD (But I dont know if 1 Million years is enough to turn tree juice into amber...the insects enclosed in amber are millions of years old. "Modern" man or Neanderthaler are not that old....yeah definitely the thing to debate in a game`s comment section! XD ) But a cool idea. And a nice game mechanic, you have to be careful not to destroy the cavemens amber shell because they hunt the player down quickly.^^
